What can I expect during my treatment?
When you arrive for your session, you will meet with one of our nurses, who will mark out the treatment zones on your body. You will then be asked to lie down and the nurse will begin applying the MiniFx device. The device uses vacuum pressure to gently tug on the skin, in order to ensure maximum treatment depth. The area is then treated with a series of high frequency radio waves that raise the temperature of the underlying fat cells causing them to die. Temperature controls carefully monitor the heat output to prevent damage to any of the surrounding tissues. Most patients experience no discomfort, just slight warmth. Each treatment will last between 30 minutes to an hour.
How many treatments do I need?
Depending on your treatment regime you can expect to have between 1-3 sessions. It also depends how aggressive your treatment is and the severity of laxity and skin quality.
How quickly will I see results?

Your non-surgical facelift will see visible results within a few days, but typically after three weeks the most noticeable results appear. Improvements continue up to three months after treatment.

How long should I wait in between treatments?
4 weeks.
Can anyone benefit from facial contouring?
The benefit of the laser’s color blind technology is that it can be used on all skin types. The unique properties allow even darker tones to be treated.
What kind of post-procedure care is required?

Since MiniFx is a non-invasive, non-surgical procedure, there is absolutely no downtime required. You may return to your regular activities as soon as you leave our beautiful office. You may have mild redness at the treatment site following your procedure. This is normal and should subside within a few hours. Over the course of the next few weeks and months, you will begin to notice the facial contouring benefits as your body gently carries away the dead fat cells and reveals the gorgeous sculpted look you crave. It’s recommended that patients avoid very hot water for two days following a BodyFX session and refrain from scrubbing the affected skin. Apply moisturizer to the treated areas each day. We have very gentle, post-procedure moisturizers available – your provider will be happy to help you find the best product for you.

Can this be used in combination with other treatments?
Yes, it can be used in the same treatment session, or a few days after other treatments.
Is MiniFx painful?

Most users find MIniFx comfortable. During treatment you can expect a warming of your skin and gentle pulling sensation as the radio-frequency and vacuum work to smooth out unwanted stubborn pockets of fat. There is no need for any anesthesia, and you can return to your normal activities immediately.

Is MiniFx safe?

Yes! BodyFX™’s propriety application modality constantly monitors skin temperature throughout the procedure to ensure precise, controlled heating without the risk of overheating or burns.

Will MiniFx help me lose weight?

Procedures that help minimize or eliminate cellulite are not effective for weight loss, and cannot replace lifestyle management. If you are interested in information regarding diet, nutrition and weight loss, please ask our staff about scheduling a consultation with our Nutritionist.

I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). Will laser hair removal work for me?

Yes, and it works quite well. PCOS patients are women who have a “hormonal issue” that results in a male pattern of hair growth. Laser Hair Removal will reduce anywhere from 60-80% of hair growth. Our goal is to reduce the maintenance that you have to do substantially, and reduce the growth of unwanted facial hair tremendously. We tell all of our PCOS patients to expect to do touch up sessions anywhere from two to three times per year after completing a package. Should you have increased hair growth on other body parts including the back, buttocks, neck and more and we can treat these areas as well.
